Which hats can I have custom made?

All hat styles shown can be custom made. If you do not see the style you are looking for feel free to send a link to a picture and I can give you a quote. Custom orders are available for orders over $60 only. No sketches are provided. Photos of the hat are supplied at various stages for approval.

How long will a custom order take to be filled?

Generally custom orders are placed in a queue in order of receipt of payment. Most hats on this site take about 3-4 days to complete. Shipping takes a week to 10 days.  No fabric is cut until payment in full is received.

I have a gown and I would like to match it perfectly, how can we do this?

I cannot guarantee that I can locate the exact fabric here in Melbourne. I am happy to try, however often fabric in stores are from different dye lots, job lots, old and new stock. Some fabrics are simply impossible to locate in the exact same colour.

Often your gown maker can supply enough extra fabric for a hat. On request most seamstresses will be happy to include a half yard or so in the box with your gown. You can then forward that onto me. Please be courteous to your seamstress and do offer to pay for this fabric or shipping. If she refuses please do offer a generous tip.

Can I have a discount if I supply the fabric?

Sorry, most the cost of any hat is in the labour. No discounts are given for supply of fabric.

I would like all my wedding party to have matching hats, can I have a discount for a bulk order?

Yes! I am happy to give discounts for multiple purchases and combine shipping for extra savings. Please contact me for more information.

Can I return the hat if I am not happy with it when I try it on?

Each hat is handmade individually. I do not accept any returns, exchanges or issue store credits. Choose wisely as all sales are final. Returns, exchanges or credits are not accepted for custom orders under any circumstances. Privacy is important to me, no correspondence written or verbal will be entered into with a third party regarding your purchases.

How can I contact you off the net?

To make an appointment please contact me on  (61 3) 9 375 3414. I spend Sundays with my family and cannot be contacted.
